SEARCH & RESCUE GROUND and MOUNTAIN RESCUE TEAMS
on the web

The following list is not exhaustive. Currently, there are more than 1,500 SAR teams and organizations throughout the country, and many do not have their own websites. When possible, we've included statewide and regional associations (in bold), which should be able to provide information regarding teams in their respective states. If you don't see a team listed for your area, you can contact your local Sheriff's office for information on Search & Rescue. SARstories.com will do our best to keep this list and the URLs up-to-date, but please feel free to contact us about any incorrect information or broken links.  If your team or organization is not included here, please let us know, and we'll add it to the list.

If your team doesn't have a website but you have just an email address and phone number and would like to be added to the list, we'll be happy to do so.
